Description

Wipe on release that requires no secondary polishing. Dries evenly to high gloss finish for all polyester gel coat molding. Added sealing properties reduce the need of a mold sealer in many applications. A quick and easy multiple release for all polyester molding when applying gel coat to open mold using either hand/spray lay-up or casting process. Excellent release for large molding applications such as marine, bus, swimming pools, etc. where secondary polishing may present difficulty.

Excellent gloss retention for higher production applications requiring frequent mold turns such as cast marble or tub & shower industry.

Description

Providing multiple releases with no transfer or mold build-up. Effective for use with thermoset resins and thermoplastics applications up to 750F. Versatile release that can be used for open mold hand/spray lay-up as well as closed mold (RTM), vacuum bagging, compression or solid surface casting. Provides dulling or matte effect on tool so not to be used for high gloss polyester applications. Allows fabricator to produce matte finish part from high gloss tool that is sometimes required for certain applications. Ideal for wind industry since it can be used on nacelles that generally require dull finish of polyester gel coat, but works equally well for epoxy blades manufactured using wet lay-up or infusion process. Application method is either wipe or spray on without secondary polish step.
